My BMW E36 Install

well heres the opening post, alot more to come. The MTX is just for temporary purposes but it will do. Heres what ive got so far...

This is what will be going in :

MTX 5500

And todays progress:

The Final product...

Caulking around the edges and everything will still be done and lots of sanding to smooth things off. The cuts were a little off but everything will be completely sealed. Its a little tough without a table saw or clamps...

There will also be a false wall going in in about 3 weeks. Also awaiting amp....

me too, the biggest pain in the *** is that they are pretty much completely sealed off fromt he trunk, sucks

At least get some 8500's, or better yet the 9500. I loved mine when I had them.

Also buddy has a beamer and his is sealed off to and has some nice shit and sounds like a midbass speaker, lol! Sucks, but they or well his model will take a lot of work to get loud.

Yea i know what you maen, its a temporary sub for about 1 month, im in the process of making a move back to NY and its a 24 hour drive, i NEED some bass for the drive. I have plans to cut and trim out a large hole (make it clean of course) in the rear deck because there is alot of unused space....that way I can get some bass into the cabin. They are WAY to sealed off, im really suprised.
