My beer collection is getting pretty large.....pics inside

the most popular polish beer commercially available in US is okocim
(its still rare)

thats probably what you tried

Close... same company but different beer. In fact, one Polish brand arrived in a small quantity. It was a wheat beer - I can't remember the name. It was simply wonderful! It was based on the same style as Hoegaarden, but was ten times better! If you had a Hoegaarden before they were taken over by Interbrew, *that's* what it tasted like.

Naw, you need a real authentic Pilsner. If you can get a Pilsner Urquel *direct from the homeland* your heart will melt. Unfortunately, they are contract brewed across North America so you would probably have to cross the pond to get one.
A friend of mine brought some back for me, pretty good stuff. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

lies...
PBR is
PBR really isn't bad for what it is. i'm not really a beer guy myself, but i have like 4 or 5 friends that are straight up beer snobs, that know a ridiculous ammount about beer. you know the kind that drink mostly imported noname stuff that you've never even heard of, and they all thing PBR is decent and they'd probably all be able to tell you like at least ten popular beers that are worse...

i don't even drink that much beer, and i've had worse beer than PBR

the worst beers are,

not in order

wildcat

black label supremes

luckies

but those are all 6-8% and are just ment to fvck you up....

why american beer so little % of alcohol?

ya those are all pretty solid. dog fish is my fav brewery. have you tried the 120 minute ipa? It's intense, but really good. Me and you seem to have similar tastes in beers, so I will go ahead and suggest that you try Young's Double Choclate Stout.
Thanks for the tip, Suebee.

Here's one - try the Bell's Two Hearted Ale. I think the word is .. Round? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Dunno if I can find Young's, but I will give it a shot. I don't really shop for stout often (i'm a hophead) but hopefully it'll be an easy score //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

all i see is domestic microbrew
its microbrew for a reason, cause it sucks

try adding some hoegaarden, carlsberg, or some stella to the collection. All that stuff you posted tastes like tree roots!
i can't tell if that was a joke or serious.....how about the Westvleteren 12 in there? Or the De Dolle Oerbier Special Reserva 2006? Or the Orval from 2006? That macro-Euro crap is nasty....sure I'd drink it if it was free, but I sure as hell wouldn't buy it.

****** Chocolate = godlike, but good luck getting ahold of one. I sold a couple on ebay for $125 and $185 each, and traded the rest that I had. Only have the one left.

And for whoever cares, it's not a collection really. I drink them all, it just takes a while to do so. You can only drink so many heavy beers at a time
