I used a dual wiring amp kit from wal mart to wire these 2 amps. A JL xd 600/1 for my 13.5 JL w3, and a Jensen power 400.2 for my selenium d250 horn driver with a metal cone. They were both working for a while and then all of a sudden my d250 stopped working. The amp still said it was on so I tried to connect other speakers to the amp to see if they worked and they didn't. If I unplug the remote the amp turns off, idk if that's supposed to happen or if just the power wire is enough to keep it on, but here a video of my setup please give me suggestions on what to do.

Considering that JL Itself requires 4 gauge to power that amp alone and your probably powering both amps with a single run of 4 gauge right?
I have a 4 gauge wire from my battery to the distributor block and then 8 gauge from the block to the amps.

Plug in something else to the inputs on the Jensen amplifier, such as your phone with a 3.5 mm to RCA adapter cable. If you're not getting any sound at all this is not likely a current supply problem.

Ah, yes, after reading the OP again I understand his issue and agree with you, trumpet.

That's a little iffy... I'd still upgrade the wire from the distro block to JL amp to 4ga.
I just took out the power wire on the JL amp to see if anything happened and there was still no sound

Try running a different source unit to your amps.Another hu or iphone, ipod.See if that helps.Could be your cd player.
My HU is a pinoeer appradio 2 and has been working perfectly since i bought it but I just noticed that when my rcas are unplugged from the jensen amp, it turns off. (idk if thats normal)

I'd go back through all the power and grounds.

I'd go back through all the power and grounds.
I already checked the power wire and it was fine and then when I checked the ground it looked fine but it was hardly reaching the amp so I moved it to closer spot but still nothing happened
