My alternator is installed and the car is working fine.

Yeah I'll take pictures sometime soon. Right now the ECU needs to be mounted somewhere else.

Can I mount the voltage regulator box in the trunk? Not much room in the engine bay. I don't know how long or short the wires to the regulator have to be..

yeah he is a very nice guy! I'm glad I had him to talk to when needed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Hope I can return the favor someday

I would keep the run as short as possible. If you mount it in the trunk then you have to run the feild wire back to the trunk as well.I know it can be tight, but look around the wheel wells or near the fire wall.

Also did you install a relay on the positive wire going to the regulator?

Relay? also running the field wire to the trunk would be VERY easy. What we did with the + wire for the regulator is installed in on the fuse box old school under a 20 amp fuse. This needs to be fixed and hardwired in. I have lots of 14 gauge wire. I really need to know if running the voltage regulator to the trunk is an OK thing to do. Someone on here said no but i'm not sure they knew what they were talking about.
