Links are broken for me.
I like it! A guy down the road has one stashed in his garage and one day I noticed it sitting in the driveway. It was rough, looked like it hadnt seen daylight in at least 30 years. I don't know much about VWs but I'm sure it was about the same year as yours. All I knew is that I wanted it. Stopped by a few days latter with a hand full of cash and it was gone. I love those locations for the fronts. Wish modern cars had such install friendly door panels.
That brings back some memories. The first car I bought was a 64' bug. It had a gas gauge and speedometer and that was it, both in German. I remember o thought it was broken because I couldn't figure out how to get it into reverse. That's a good lookin build.
