My 1st venture into home theater

I too am about to make the giant leap into true HT, I have a 32" lcd HDTV, but my audio is lacking horribly. As I was watching the Ratatouille Blu-Ray my ears hurt as the horrible HTIB rang in my ears. Today my search for a wonderous DIY HT 5.1.
any help?

here in oz there is a place called WAR audio they sell dit uself kits for speakers from fronts subbs reas floorstandesrs bookshelves whatever but heres the shiit hot bit the drivers they use are all JM labs (focal) as we all know JM labs did home hifi for the purist before car audio

and as far as i know they will send you a flat pack in whatever finnish you want all precut and ready to roll with a mic and softwre so you can tune the speakers right its all point and click apparently not to bad prie wise either and shipping is cheap as he probably has someone in the us doing it so google war audio western australia and then go from there
