I read that and wasn't sure what to think about "telly vision" than I saw where you were from... I just giggled a little... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!!!

Pictures are required for you now. Any plans for the audio yet?

I too am about to make the giant leap into true HT, I have a 32" lcd HDTV, but my audio is lacking horribly. As I was watching the Ratatouille Blu-Ray my ears hurt as the horrible HTIB rang in my ears. Today my search for a wonderous DIY HT 5.1.

any help?

Come on....everyone knows that "telly vision" is the famous saying from "Grady" on Sanford and Son....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif:laugh://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

But yeah I'm also upgrading my audio as well:D:D:D

congratz man, sweet tv you got, hehe, wait till you set your audio rite, its a world of difference and experience when watching a movie with a good HT system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

indeed,

makes me wanna go and rent Gladiator or some sort of war movie ! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Gladiator is 6.1, so to truly experience it you need a rear center channel....
i'd rather have a great 2.2 than a normal/cheap 6.1 IMHO, IIRC a good 6.1 system is expensive, one of my friend have a POLK HTIB 6.1 or 7.1 and it gets loud but SQ is mediocre and the sub doesnt dip low at all..... and payed 1k ...

but i see what you mean, the effects are nice with a surround.... but it's just isnt THAT important compared to clarity at high volume IMO

Good show...

I used to watch it on Nick at Night...

Are you serious? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

My 2.1 is plenty fine for me.

Indeed... Unless you have a dedicated HT room where you can arrange everything perfectly with out compromise then 5.1 is the most I would go.
