My 15" XXX SEALED BOX review

Alright, well I finally got that other box taken out of my car (still want someone to look at it and tell me what went wrong so im saving it) and I just put in a 2.1 Cu.Ft. Sealed box, re-enforced corners and edges....heres what I thought....

It was kind of interesting, although still not what I expected...It sounded almost the same as my ported box as far as output, even though the ported box had the edge, but not by much at all...The sealed box hits a littttle punchier, but again, not as much as I expected from a sealed box... it really wasnt much of an audible difference, but I always feel my windshield just to see how much its rattling and flexing, and with the sealed, it felt like it was vibrating a little more. It also hit a little lower, but I guess this sub just cant hit the higher notes.... I was playing bubblegum Yum Yum again, and it couldnt pick up that higher note...where as in most systems ive heard that song...that note bumps. So all in all they were very similar in sound though.

The only thing that I noticed that was kind of weird...hopefully someone can tell me what this was.....When I got it near its max, I would hear this sound......make an immitating sound of a drum roll like rolling your tongue.....this is similar to the sound I heard....is this normal and just happen when the sub is wangin and I just heard it because its right behind me (in the back seat) or is this not supposed to happen?

I went ported to sealed. My sealed box got the boot from my second story window.

Maybe the box doesnt fit into the trunk opening, or didnt have enough wire, or has a body in the trunk.

because the install is still setup the way I had it for my 4 12's...still have a battery and fuse blocks in my trunk in my wheel well. I DO NOT have a trunk floor at the moment, so I cant put a box back there yet....

Still sounds liek you have LPF Xover settings too low. My ava 18 can pick up the higher not in blueberry yum yum pretty well and its inductance pwnz me.
