Ok so here is the deal.

I got this sub and box on CL and the sub was never used. It's practically brand new. It's still very stiff.

The amp I got only does 1500w rms at 1 ohms, and I heard someone gave this sub 2500w rms clean power.

Now obviously I can not do anywhere near that and I think this sub was WAYYY under rated.

It does slam, but it's only marginal compared to what I had before.

I am wanting 1 or 2 12's or 15's or even 4 12's or 4 10"s or whatever. Just needs to be able to take 1500w rms at 1 ohm final load and sound GOOD.

I'm in the east bay area and travel all through the bay area for work. No work till next week though, but I don't mind driving.

Sub in 100% working order, in a ported box tuned to 34hz with 4 cubes.

Currently running on a saz1500d v1 with 2' of 1/0awg to the battery.

I will take some vids of is playing if requested.

Edit: timestamped pics

db drive plt15wd, gets nasty low on 1.5k in a 5.5 cu ft box tuned to 28hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif you add a little cash . google the sub 2500rms

I was trying to get a sub that is 1500w rms and can't really take more than that...my current sub already takes 2500w rms, that's why I want something that can't handle that, so that my amp will be moving the sub a decent amount

2500rms is the rateing . but trust me 1500rms will get it moveing no problem. it does not mean it will take the whole 2500rms to get this bad boy moveing. others will agree too . also the sundown 1500 will put out more then its rated power . so.

im runnin about the same power little less. and im moveing some air

This is the first time I've had this much power so honestly don't know the issue. It could be a lot of things. But everything DOES work. Just not ideally at the moment.

But I would like to keep that in another thread as I just want something that can't handle 2500w rms, since I've been told it can handle that with clean power.

There is a reason I didn't buy that FI BTL 15" that does 2500w rms from craigslist. Because I knew I would have to do the big 3, second battery, etc, etc, to power it.

bump

amp getting 14v (fluke t6-500 at battery terminals on amp)

confirmed for amp not having enough juice and sub being 1000w rms under rated

EDIT: Will take any pics/videos of doing anything with the sub to prove it works.

I just want subs matched with my amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I would assume it is the radio's built in eq curves that are meant to protect the OEM speakers. You will need a DSP with signal leveler. That...
