Im streaming tidal hifi with an aux cord . Pioneer p1400 dvd unit. Am i getting full lossless quality? I played a cd and its much louder. I have my source set on 0 on both cd and aux

Will i be able to get better sound with a better radio?

No you just need to use the source level adjuster properly thats all. Or swap out to a head unit with bluetooth. Bluetooth always better than Aux for me... At least if you have bluetooth cersion 3.0 to 4.1.

The aux SLA should be +2 to 3 compared to CD.
