Who has, what they think, a good music collection with 'different' and 'rare' music? I'm not talking something you can go on iTunes and Dl for a buck or go on some half *** torrent site and DL some transcode piece of garbage, but some actual, rare hard copy CDs??

I"m sure there's someone with a sweet collection. I'm pretty close to unlimited invites on What.cd, and have a bunch on waffles.fm. Anyone who wants to help could see an invite in their future to either of those sites.

I've got a great collection... Local library has 5k+ collection of CDs and they're just starting to build a vinyl section. I can checkout unlimited amounts of music for 2 weeks at a time. That plus a similar size dvd/brd collection has made going to the library a highlight of my week.

I'm on What.cd and Waffles too! Joined after Oink went down. Hands down the best sites for hard to find music. I don't give out invites because when I did, I almost got kicked out for people leeching too much and not seeding.

i got alot of local rap!!! mostly tapes and most of them are dead now!!! lol Skanbino mob, Blade, and stuff like that....

Depends on what you consider different and rare. I have a lot of vinyl that I could convert over if I so chose to do. I've considered getting on what.cd as private trackers seem to have all the good FLAC and ALAC discogs (resist downloading MP3 like the plague). Currently running rutracker.org with great results.

I do have some CDs I held onto from local bands while I was stationed in South Carolina that're good if you like non-whiny emo. Only rip using EAC>WAV>dbpoweramp for 400kbps CBR AAC conversion as well. I also have a lot of 24/96 and 24/192 vinyl rips from avaxhome before it got locked down on an external. If you have something in mind, let me know and I will dig through and see what I can find.
