HA!! etymology doesnt conflict in the slightest, irregardless isnt a word, akin to how aint isnt a word. Its only become recognized as a word due to the sheer volume of uneducated people who refused to not use it. Irregardless is a bastardization of irrespective and and regardless. Irregardless literally would mean, if it actually had a true meaning, without-without regard. Placing "ir" in front of any word negates its meaning, like irrelevant, which means not relevant. Irregardless would thereby mean with regard which is the complete opposite rationale of why its ever said.

I only refer to google here in hopes of you finding out that you were wrong, instead of proving that your grasp on the english language is pretty relegated to the troll vernacular that you use here
