Can someone post a diagram on how to wire 2 batteries, 1 stock and 1 optima, please, im the visual learner type,lol. Thanks in advance

it's not hard. 1/0 gauge wire from front battery + to second battery +. then you ground the second battery and fuse the main power wire at each battery

Can i insteed, acording to the diagram do this:

In place of the red top, use my stock bat up front, and in place of the bat cap, use my red top, adn do i need any isolator or fuse in-line

redtops generally aren't used as second batteries. you want to fuse within 18" of each battery

the redtop will work. it is a dry cell correct? yellowtops have a much better reserve capacity which is benificial as a second battery

go ahead and use the redtop in the back, then once you save up, put the redto up front and get a yellowtop for the back

yes except i'd loose the cap. also i didn't see any fuses on that power wire. it's very important to fuse at each battery. also you can ground the amps back to the second battery. also if you let you car sit for a few days or run your system with the car off, you may want to look into a relay/solenoid
