That's what I was talking about lmao, you should have asked before you bought it.

I did... about 3 weeks ago... and ppl crapped in the thread.
SO... seems to me like you know something i dont?
No haha, I've never used it, but I have bought products without knowing much about them. Jmac could tell you allllllllll about that, believe me lol.

Nothing wrong with the new Edead products. I have used over 100 ft^2 of V1SE^2 mat deadener and about 3/4 of a gallon of the V3. Only thing with the V3 is that you should allow a solid 24 hours for it to TOTALLY dry.

I am really rethinking about getting this instead of the raamat bxt because I was going to buy 125sq ft of raamat for $218 but now I realize that the eDead v1se^2 is almost $60 cheaper.

The only thing I was worried about is the adhesion.

People were complaining about the old asphalt based deadener and they said the butyl based stuff sucked, without ever using it. So I really don't know.

Let me know how it sticks and if you like it. Are you cleaning surfaces before you apply it? If so, what are you cleaning it with?

well... luckily my car is like a tin can, so hosing out the back wont be hard. Yes, im going to use a hose on most of it because the hatch area is so small that the spare tire well takes up the vast majority of the area. Im going to use some stuff i have personal experience with, made by castrol called Castrol Superclean. Its a super high strength cleaner/degreaser soap stuff. Its by far one of the best cleaning products ive ever used. Im going to scrub the hatch area with that, spray it down, and before applying it i will spray the entire area down with brake cleaner, the non chlorinated kind. That way i know its a 100% clean surface.

Many people have said NOT to use a degreaser as it has additives and chemicals in it which will not help the adhesion, and will make the surface less adhesable. I have been told denaturized rubbing alcohol is the best way to go. That or water and soap.

But let me know how the castrol goes, as I have gallons of it.

I used 250 sq ft in my car. Works and sticks great. Don't listen to people who hate on products they have no experience with. Just make sure to clean the surface with denatured alcohol first.

Also, it was 40 degrees outside when I did this and I had absolutely no problems getting it to stick.

Thats pretty much what mine will look like once i raise some more money. except mine will have a layer of black v3 over it. My car is black and it would look better. I dont think 75 sq ft will cover more than my door panels and my trunk.

How much quieter is it in there? how many layers?
