Just got off the phone with an Alabama State Trooper and says that he is pretty sure it isn't illegal to remove an airbag. He is going to check next week and find out for sure but until then, anyone here from Alabama had any problems with doing this? Anyone got a ticket and if so how much?

some dont have any so why would it?
I have known of some people getting tickets from other states for removing it and replacing it with a monitor or ps2 or something like that. Some states have laws that restrict you from doing such things. I'm hoping Alabama isn't one of them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. heard that one before:rolleyes: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
I agree. That is why I am checking before I do anything. I really don't want to spend 60+ hours building a dash and get a ticket for it and maybe even have to take it out.
