Good point..I`de probaly use some paint over the metal, then like a rubber liner of some sort.We havent had hardly any rain, so the trails here are dry as all hell.if your going to do that i wouldn't even bother with carpet, somekind of liner?
Check out the back tire of the first picture. I said they look bald.how the hell can you see the tread on his tires from those pictures?
i just got back from the rubicon a few weeks ago. pretty darn fun, i wish i had pics (not on my cell phone). it looks like fun being able to tear stuff up like that. i havent been muddin in over a year. my truck will never see the mud, but when i find an older truck worth buying and that is the right price, it is going to get a suspension make over and a mud bath.dam jeeps lol, looks like fun i wish there was places around here like that for me to go play in
a huge lift is pointless for most kids in my area, not all though. they go mudding because they think they have a fire breathing dragon, and they either get stuck because they dont ahve enough power to run 38-44" tires, or they put it on its side because the center of gravity is so high.Huge lifts aren't pointless. You get more axle clearance by using bigger tires. You can add bigger tires if you have a huge lift. Does the average kid going "mudding" on the weekend need a huge lift and 40" tires? No. But is a huge lift completely pointless? Potentially not.
