Much difference between Arc and Sundown?

I don't think he ever responded to when I mentioned that the last time he invaded another thread like this.
Oh, and I'd rather have the Arc.
Yeah I love how people misunderstand not only the challenge itself but the meaning behind the challenge.

But then again it is the internet and everybody knows everything....

I would have to see the prices to make a decision myself. For customer service I am pretty sure that Jake would win, for SQ, the Arc probably takes it but again the differences will be so minute they are probably imperceptible. The biggest advantage the Arc has is the power, and if that was the deciding factor the Arc wins, otherwise I would probably go Sundown.

I probably don't spend 1/4 of what you do on amps. :p

You may have your car audio shiznaz with buying the best brand first, paying $$$. I have technological experience on my side. I can take a mediocre amp and tinker with it to increase quality, and even power.

I don't quite understand, you buy RF, etc. I'm sure you spend, as stated earlier, 4x what I payed. :p I'm sure you've heard of the "HEEY MAN, JAY ELLE IS TEH SHEET MAN!" complex, or something of the same message.

It's really nice when you really know what you're doing. Have fun with your TO247 44n50s. I have nothing else to say.

I've honestly been less than impressed with Sundown's 2-channel offerings, other than the initial 100.2 prototype...

The Arcs I've heard, whether the KS series or Minis, have been dead quiet.

I've never noticed any noise issues with my amp. I have nothing bad to say about my Sundown amps, but if I had problems I would let people know, lol. Have you ever had any of those problems with their 4 channel amps or have you heard them at all?

I haven't heard any of the 4 channels yet.
Honestly, I was impressed with some of Sundown's 4 channel offerings since there was a bandpass option. The capability to run those mids and highs active right out the box is a huge plus in my book!

I did not spend a lot of money with my RF however it makes me happy and I know I am getting more than what I pay for. I have good friends that give me good discounts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Arc and Sundown are both great. I'd prefer Arc just because that's what I have experience, but I'm sure you would be satisfied with either. Having the headroom with the Arc will be nice too...

I also have years, lots of installer friends and technical experience on my side. I have heard it all from old school to new school amps. Starting in 1989 would give me 19 years of car audio experience so I am cool. Plus I have installed many of my own systems.
