Tell that to the amplifiers that aren't exactly noise free //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifAll amps sound the same. Car audio manufacturers are in business because people are foolish enough to believe that they hear sound differences between amps. People swap out and buy different amps believing when one will sound better than the other. It's better to get an amp that is built solidly, does it's rated power, and looks the way you want it to. Like the earlier post said, its better to focus on the speakers and head unit because that's where the sound comes from. All amps do is amplify the sound. Because of the difference in wattage, one amp may sound a little louder but that is it.
The current models are *exactly* the same main PCB as the prototype.I've honestly been less than impressed with Sundown's 2-channel offerings, other than the initial 100.2 prototype...

The Arcs I've heard, whether the KS series or Minis, have been dead quiet.
did you ever stop to think that your processor or your CD that you use has noise in it that the SD amps pick up ? maybe you have low RCA voltage due to the HU/ processor makeing somthing weird not all amps are made the same some are more sensitive to peoples setups more than others. you think that when you took the amp out you didnt change something to make that noise from the proto to the production amp?I've honestly been less than impressed with Sundown's 2-channel offerings, other than the initial 100.2 prototype...

listen to a good sq car and I bet your opinion changes as well as some of your taste in music...did you ever stop to think that your processor or your CD that you use has noise in it that the SD amps pick up ? maybe you have low RCA voltage due to the HU/ processor makeing somthing weird not all amps are made the same some are more sensitive to peoples setups more than others. you think that when you took the amp out you didnt change something to make that noise from the proto to the production amp?
on another note i think SQ is stupid why would you be that anal about a car you drive? home audio i can see but its just music in a CAR drive your car if you hear the noise at 60MPH yea maybe the amp is picking up noise or you have a poor electrical system or you just **** at diagnosing noises they make noise suppressors for a reason
So was fast85_gt's (or whatever his u/n was) daughter. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifsupa's mom was here.

SQ in a car isn't stupid. It makes as much sense as any other goal that doesn't sustain life.did you ever stop to think that your processor or your CD that you use has noise in it that the SD amps pick up ? maybe you have low RCA voltage due to the HU/ processor makeing somthing weird not all amps are made the same some are more sensitive to peoples setups more than others. you think that when you took the amp out you didnt change something to make that noise from the proto to the production amp?

Here are a list of amps I have sitting at my shop right now that have a measurable resistance from the speaker terminal to the remote, by the way :Can you measure the resistance from the turn-on lead input to the speaker terminals?
I'm thinking it was a bad batch, but I don't know what other people's amps are reading.
