MTX Thunder 421D RCA terminal problem

Okay i got this amp from a friend of mine the other day. The amp works great, great power, great sound, great everything. The RCA terminals are loose when i put plug in the rca's. I pulled the cover off the amp and its a little thin peice of metal on the support for the terminals and i bent it inward a bit an it sturdied it up a bit but sometimes when i hit a big bump while ridin i can hear them come loose inside the connector. Is there anyway to fix this problem or just leave it as is? I also took a peice of cloth and wedged between them to keep em tight that helps a bit also.

stuff what the amp??? wouldnt that cause a fire from the heat?
