FI seems to be the boner around here. There are people who run the MTX, but i don't think they're anything special.

yea i just stumbled upon their site and their prices are not that bad, and seem to be about the same if not better than the mtx

IMO I would take a MTX 9512 over the FI BL. I have ran a Mtx 9500 12 and was very pleased with it. It got loud but still retained pretty good SQ. As far as FI alot of people are raving about them. Personally Im tempted to get a fully loaded BTL 12. But 9500 vs Bl I would go with the 9500 cause IMO it a proven performer. I owned it amd liked so it would be my choice. But with any set up its mostly install dependent.

I heard a couple setups with the 9500s, pretty loud, and pretty clean. I can get a nice price on em from a local store, but I just dont want those. As far as Fi, I dont know anyone here who has em,. only saw a few setups at car shows.

LOTS of ppl on here has them and seems to be a reliable subwoofer.

Not really are local shop has the 9512 for like 250-300. Thats not that bad my choice would be the mtx i guess between the two options given. My buddy had one on a 1000wrms hifonics and it surprised me for how much output it had.

people underrate the 9500. the cone is junk thoguh.. where in wi are you? for that price.. ill go pick some 9500's up..
