:rolleyes:says the guy looking to replace a 9500 b/c it doesnt have enough spl

Not sure about the meter, i did it at a Legit Audio shop though, somewhere around here.
As for the others,

(1) Single MTX 9500 15" in a Original Silver Sledgehammer Box.

(1) Clarion DPX11551 Amp with the hz settings tunned as low as possible, 10 hz for the subsonic filter, 30 hz for the X-Over Filter, and some other filter on 30 hz. Gain and Bass boost is Up all the way.

I have an Concert Series Epicenter, but i never turn the knob on. Does it affect the sound when it's not turned on? I'm thinking of selling it since i never turn it on if that's the case..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Hmm also, i have a Stock, Harmon Kardon Speaker System for the Doors and back. That's probably why i havent scored High, since the stock speakers are pretty weak, lol. The sub was mainly doing all the work.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

i saw this and skipped the other 2 pages so forgive me but

AHHHHHH who the hell set up your amp

what fq was the 145 done at? if the low pass on the amp was set to 30hz then it would have to have been at 30 hz or less. where was the meter placed, in the port, dash, head rest, or kick?

ive been doing a lot of testing on a tl meter lately and that kind of score with the low pass at 30hz and just 1 sub with the power you have is very unlikely.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I did the db test @ Kamikaze Electronics(this is who installed it, I adjusted the amp.). The mic was put on the inside of the passenger side windshield. They used a brand new audio control db meter. The one they use in comps.

my first sub was a mtx 4000 10, I liked that sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. I don't think MTX is going anywhere, they may just try to be more exclusive to retailers ala JL instead of whor ing themselves out to anything that sells subs. Probably a good idea since only 15-20% of car audio sales is made online and the rest is through retailers. They are just going where the REAL money is
