MTX, No More??

Everyone as given MTX so mush crap since the Jackhammer. The 8500 and 9500 were great subs for the money, and their amps were not bad either.

Lol, No ways! I've got 145.3db on just a single 15". Isn't that a high number for db?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
I've done a 151+ with a single DD 9515....only 6dbs louder than your MTX....so I guess a 145.3 for a single MYTX 15 is pretty good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Where can i get this DD Subwoofer? Lol, and how much does it cost?

I was wondering where all the mtx subwoofers & sledgehammers went. Then I saw this on Lightav.com, Next to the 9500 & Jackhammers.

"MTX Has removed all of their high end products including the Jackhammer, 9500 series subs, and TA 90000 series amplifiers from distributors to stop people from selling their products online.. It is very unlikely you will be able to find ANYONE that can actually get this product anymore, let alone risk selling it online and lose their dealerships.."

Hmm... Is this true?? I'm still going to try order the 9500 from woofersetc.com but still yet. Are the woofers gone??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif:crying://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif Lol.
So the rumor is that in order to avoid some unauthorized sales on the internet of MTX's high-end products, they are going to stop selling them altogether?
That seems pretty bass ackwards to me, but Ive seen companies do some weird things in order to try and keep their finger in the internet dike.

6 db more than 145 db is ALOT...

Hmm, actually.. what song or sound were you playing when you got the 151db?? I'm going to test it in my car to see what exact db i get..

What kind of meter was that 145 with? What sub?

What amp?

Box specs?
Not sure about the meter, i did it at a Legit Audio shop though, somewhere around here.

As for the others,

(1) Single MTX 9500 15" in a Original Silver Sledgehammer Box.

(1) Clarion DPX11551 Amp with the hz settings tunned as low as possible, 10 hz for the subsonic filter, 30 hz for the X-Over Filter, and some other filter on 30 hz. Gain and Bass boost is Up all the way.

I have an Concert Series Epicenter, but i never turn the knob on. Does it affect the sound when it's not turned on? I'm thinking of selling it since i never turn it on if that's the case..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Hmm also, i have a Stock, Harmon Kardon Speaker System for the Doors and back. That's probably why i havent scored High, since the stock speakers are pretty weak, lol. The sub was mainly doing all the work.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Bs on the 145 with that equipment and box. It was pry a shiity meter, not a tl, which are bout 5/6db lower than a tl. So u pry scored a 139-140, which isn't Nething good with a 15 9500
