What would be a nice pair of rear 6x9 rear speakers I could install in the future within a $200-$250 range?

Thanks very much for your insight!

*I had links to all components but because I'm new the site blocks me from including them. Let me know if you need them. I went ahead and pasted the specs listed on the Sonic Electronix site.

Thank you, Grimy. I have no plans for beast bass in the trunk so I'd like to maximize the rear speakers.

I drive about 600 miles a week and need the trunk space but just wanted to have decent sound since I drive so much. I mostly listen to drum n bass.

I'll stick with the pioneers for now then.

ok, now I'm not sure which way to go.

If it's more bass I need then I should get the mtx in there and if I plan to get some sort of sub installed I should go with the pioneers right?

Just to clarify I already have both sets of these. The pioneers were in the accord when I got it and I have the MTX from a while back. Not looking to purchase higher end ones yet but I am open to suggestions.

If you're going to get a sub, don't use your rear speakers at all. Where are you getting these speakers from? They're both discontinued models.

Oh, and those MTX speakers are 3-ways as well. The listed specs are wrong.

There will not be a sub. At least not anytime soon. I need my trunk space for work.

The Pioneers came with the accord when I got it. The MTX I bought several years ago and have just been lyin around.

Thanks for pointing out that error.

Due to using HU power u want the speakers that are the most efficient with power and based on the listed specs I would go with the Pio's as they have a Sensitivity rating of 93 dB vs MTX's 92 but this also could be false due to not knowing how they got those numbers each manf uses a different process. Since u own both drop them in and see what sounds best to you.

Id say get you a nice low power amp maybe 200watts or less 4 channels and run it to all you your speakers this will give you added output and you could add the other 6x9 s if you have room .the 6x9s are a full range speaker so depending on the speaker ,the can drop down into the low range and play as a subwoofer and its just fine.when setting the amp just use full range
