mtx amps

I haven't heard anything bad about them other than being a little spendy depending on where you get it. MTX still makes awesome amps and supposedly the next one up from what your lookin at, i can't remember the numbers right now, is rated at 1500 watts and most peoples birthsheets are showing 1600 to 1800 watts.

yes, ta81001 is the one i'm talking about and somebody got one for $270 a while back but I can't remember where they got it from.

yea, im planning on getting a ta7801. ive been looking around and i see so many price difference ranging from $270-$600. only $270 at onlinecarstereo, $490 at wooferetc, and $599 at hifisoundconnection. whats with big prices differences??

i hear that there birthsheets say 1681 watts

anyone run one before? how are they?

people like to bash mtx but they make some pretty good amps. i seen a sq comp car owned and built by jeff smith that was powering an all mb quart system with mtx. i couldn't beilive my ears. sounded pretty good

I think the bashing is only towards MTX's newer subs. The amps are still ass-kickers
