MTX amps worth buying?

i had a unmodded 1501d in my experience it was alright at 2ohm but its not a 1ohm amp so it will go into protect on you if you want that kinda load on it.

People are suddenly saying that they are able to use them and the older model 81000D at 1ohm now but i wouldnt chance it.

lol i wouldnt go that far either

BUT, ive had alto of expirience with 1501ds.....they'll take a good deal of heavy abuse before blowing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif if you can find oen for 250 shipped or less it's a deal.....soild amps

I have always had good experience with MTX amps when they are ran at their rated loads. Solid build quality, IMHO. I've got an old 4122 2-channel (30x2) that has been rained on, snowed on, and submerged mostly under water mounted under the seat of a rag top Jeep left uncovered for a while that still works.
