MTX Amp Vs Alpine Amp

Im looking to power 2 12" type-R (2ohm) subs....you think MTX 6500D would do best or Alpine MRD-M500 would do best??

I think your insulting MTX big time and you gave Alpine some scratches

Dont stick to sony, its overrated and not worth the buck if you ask me.. I'm not saying their "bad" amps, but just think you cant compare the list you gave... to me (and i aint a mtx fan) mtx would be the best choice, after that alpine

actually i'd say mtx too...alpine amps are the only thing that hasn't impressed me at all....no power....Some guy who was in the same class as me at the last spl comp had a 15inch type r like me but he was running it with an alpine 500 watt digital amp... lets just say my 1200d slaughtered his sorry ass......

go with the lightning audio storm because they are made by fosgate. the only bad series is the bolt series (YELLOW) storm is gray and perform EXTREMELY good. plus i think they have the same circut boards as the fosgate 1000b or something like that.

ALSO just wondering on how much that LA amp will cost you?

actually danny boy, fosgate just owns the name and both amps are still made by lightening audio......

thanks but the lightning still has the same circut board as the 1500bp if i remember correctly, on the other hand it might be different modle. (not sure)
