Probablay the MTX, but the CVX wont fall too too far behind I'm sure

You'll be fairly happy with either, but I'd like to see the CVX's performance in a nice, big box

Not tryin to be a smartass or anything, but how are they not in the same league?

CVW is supposed to be fairly comparible to a L7, and an L7 is, I would say, in the lague of a 9500 MTX no??? Or am I stupid?

straight-out performance wise, the 9500 will edge out an L7, and a CVX is a modified L7 for sealed/smaller applications, and doesn't perform as well as the squares.

PLUS, that power is going to move the 9500 a lot better than the CVX to boot, it's much more efficient.

I agree with the power aspect, but I wasnt aware in regards to the CVX. I thought the CVX was a ported-loving sub, like the L7? And also liked space, maybe I just need to read up

my bias is obviously toward the kicker, so i wouldn't vote for the 9500 if it weren't dominant by quite some margin.

they're nasty subs.

even the people who bash mtx's, and hate on how the 9500's sound, will still tell you they're some brutal subs.

i have owned bot a pair of 9500 and i currently have the l7 06's (15's)

the 9500 have better sq and will drop lower then the l7's if you just want to be stupid loud then l7 is your sub, but i will tell you if you tune the l7 high (40hz or so) you will lose alot on the low end, put the kicker tuned to the low 30 will hit low.

but all in all if you want a sub to hit low go with the mtx if you want loud factor go with the l7
