do the mtx 8000 12s hit hard? i'm getting one and i need know

The MTX 8000 12" will hit plenty hard. Hook up about 500W to it.

For a little more money you could get an Infinity Perfect 12" and get increased power handling, higher SPL and better sound quality.

For a little less money there's the JL 12W3 that will match and possibly better the MTX's performance.

But at any rate, the MTX is a good choice for loud, hard hitting bass with enough power hooked up to it.
