MTX 7500 vs. Alpine Type-R

I really enjoy my 8500. Loud for a single 12.

I would choose the Type R's. A real comparison would be:

Type R's vs. 8500.

Both take on the same power. I guess the best question is to ask what kind of power will he be running?

You show your ignorance again. I know you haven't even heard a 7500.
Easily the MTX 7500, hands down. I'd compare it to an RE SE and the SE > Type R meaning 7500 > Type R.

You can't really lose though, both are great.

How the **** would you know what I have heard and haven't..???

You need to shut your fuking mouth you stupid dink..

I am tired of your pissy lil attitute you lil c0ck sucker..

Acutaly, your showing ignorance also because i know somone just a sliver short of 150db with ONE Type R 15"...on the new TL:yumyum:

edit: Its actualy 150.4

MTX subs in general sound different than Alpine. You will just have to go listen to them both. I never did like the sound of MTX subs though, even the 9500. I would choose the new Type R.

me and my buds are doin over a 150 wit juss 1 15type r and around 1500w on the new TL. i dont think a 7500 can compare. i should be gettin 2 12 R's soon so ill let ya kno then. i hope they'll be loud
Dont think the 7500 could compare //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Lets see it can handle just as much power, and its more efficient. Shouldnt see why they wouldnt compare in terms of output.

How do you know it would handle more power? Have you actualy sent it more then 1.5kw?

type R 12 can handle a autotek mm4000 at 1 ohm for a burp...

i'd love to see a 7500 do that.. i'd also like to see it pull a 151.7 at 48hz in a monte carlo.

the 15 handles much more power and would have hurt some feelings on that autotek... didnt have it to test it though. The 15 got nice and low though... 150.4 off 1500 tested watts at 44hz in the MC.

Or perhaps the alpine type S's are a good pick... doing a 150.0 with around 800-1000 watts (gotta meter the amps) in my 85 s10 blazer.... and counting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

that being said... I just did a cougar that ran 2 mtx 8000 12's and 2 of those kenwood 850 RMS amps, in that area at least. 145.0 at 38hz in a straight SQ setup... its within one db from 35 to 52hz. Sounds real real good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
