MTX 6500d and DVC sub wiring help..

Hi all.

I have a MTX 6500D amp and I want to wire in a DVC sub.

I have a Explorer Sport 2dr with a MTX 10" stealthbox in it.

The problem is I dont know how to do this or what type sub I should get,

Should I get a dual 4ohm 10" sub and wire it @ 2ohm,

Or should I get a Dual 2ohm and wire it @ 2ohm.

If I get the Dual 2 ohm, how do I wire it to produce 2ohm for the 6500d.

you cant wire a dual two ohm for 2 ohms only 1 or 4. use either a single 2 ohm (good luck finding one) or the dual 4 ohm

I took the plunge and ordered a INFINITY KAPPA 10.d 10".

That is a very good amp and is very powerfull. I think it puts out more than the 700+ watts in states at 2ohms, at least it sounds like it.

What's the peak power handling of the Infinity? 1400 watts? It should be able to handle 775 without blowing but is recommended for about 175 per coil. This would be so much easier if you were dealing with two subs!

Thanks, The problem is I dont have the room in the trunk, I use the trunk for work gear and I can only fit in a Stealhbox on the right side..

The sub arrived today, I will try and get it in there @ the weekend,
