MTV Hates Bush

Actually bush increased spending on public schooling above what clinton was spending on it.
Actually, Bush funded private pre-collegiate schools and cut funding on private schools.

I'm not rich I'm poor, but my federal taxes were cut. Unlike my state taxes which is ran by democrats where I had to pay in because there's too many social programs.
Your federal taxes were cut, but your state's weren't?.. ha ha. What taxes are we talking here?

I personally would rather have the government take no money out of my paycheck for social security and let me save it for myself, but the average american isn't responsible enough to do this, so we have the govt. do it for us.
It's really not a matter of responsibility, it's a matter of an imperative investment. People stop working for themselves, and start letting the government work for them. You seem like you have good ideas, just impractical.

You want a socialist government that takes your money that you earned and distributes it to others. I'd rather decide what I'm going spending on public schooling above what clinton was spending on it
Socialist, no. I'm liberal, but not that liberal. Some of the things you're stating are more along the lines of anarchy. Laize Faire leads to capitalism, which has completely taken over our country. It keeps going, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, the middle class gets overtaken by the upperclass. You need a controlled government. People are letting Georgy do what he wants, often upon his own personal endeavors, which is incredibly sad. I'm more moderate than anything, it's the pure idiocracy that George W. Bush is, that creates a manifestation of disgust towards our currect Executive members in which he appointed. The average person can speak more eliquently than the President. Sure, speaking skills aren't everything. Getting in front of people and trying to explain something that everyone already knows isn't true is completely moronic, however. I just don't understand how the man thinks. I understand why people vote Republican. If this is why you vote for Bush, so be it. But if you vote for Bush because he's George Bush, I will be forever baffled.

Bush gave more money to public shools than what Clinton had set aside. I don't know about private schooling.

Income tax. And the reason why my taxes are so high is because my state has too many social programs. I don't believe in having zero social programs as they are needed but our current systems are abused.

Historically the poor are better off than they were in the past. What is considered poor now was considered a decent life in the past. I wouldn't say people are letting Bush do what he wants afterall you have the supreme court that is out of control and you have congress. I will agree and say the middle class is disappearing. I wouldn't say the middle class is moving into the upperclass though. I'm not voting for Bush. As for Bush's speaking skills, check out some of kerry's below:

"The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country."

- John F. Kerry

"If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure."

- John F. Kerry

"One word sums up probably the responsibility of any

Governor, and that one word is 'to be prepared'."

judgments in the future."

"The future will be better tomorrow."

- John F. Kerry

"We're going to have the best educated American people in the

world."

- John F. Kerry

"I stand by all the misstatements that I've made."

- John F. Kerry

So he.. cut income tax returns? Or.. your income tax is high? What?

Historically, the poor are better off than they are in the past. Again, I respect you.. I have no idea how old you are or what reality you live in, but the poor... are poor. Historically, the studies have proved that the poor.. are still poor, and without intervention, will always be poor.

As far as Kerry goes, I really can't argue any point you make about his dumbass-dom. He's ignorant, and is currently working his popularity on the fact that he's not giving "bad press" in reference to his rival.. while he should be tell the nation his personal beliefs, and what he's going to do as far as reform, and betterment of the country. He's afraid, which also angers me. But then they're Ralph Nader, who people somehow believe is the man to pick because he's "somewhere in the middle, and thinks weed should be legalized." Lovely, I hope the people who believe this become president some day. If you're moderate and you want to vote 3rd party, do some research. Ralph Nader is a user. He pries on the fact that he isn't in the spotlight, and uses his Green party position to seek a moderate stance in every political issue he can. But guess what! He's a businessman! Read up on him, for the benefit of society.

The fact is, there's 3 presidential candidates, and they all ****. It's come down to a lack of cross voting, mostly everyone is voting based on the party they feel they belong to. There's no strong candidate, and it's turning everything down the shitter.

I'm not voting for the party I belong to and I'm close to leaving the party. My federal income tax is less than previously. My state income tax was high. I had them pull out the maximum amount and I still had to pay in. My only reason in bringing this up was the fact that my state is ran by democrats which seem to love spending too much while making me (pretty poor person) pay for it. I feel welfare was a great idea along with disability pay, but again there is entirely too much abuse happening in the system costing all of us money. It's not easy living well at least that's the case where I'm located. I'll try my best to get a home but it's probably pretty unlikely that I will ever accomplish this in my area. If I'm unable to accomplish this here in CA, I may try a different area that hopefully will allow me enough pay to at least get some kind of shack that I can say is mine rather than renting my whole. My problem with kerry is he will say he's against abortion but say he has no right to place his views on another. The question becomes how far does he take this? It makes me wonder if he will ever impose any of his beliefs on what should be done or if he just plans on leaving everything up to his cabinet and congress or special interest groups and campaign contributors.

As I said before I think kerry will win but maybe I'll end up liking him. I doubt it. Personally I think the Republican leadership is filled with idiots that don't know how to campaign.

Good stuff I'm doing the same. Maybe if more people vote third party the politicians will stop being sellouts to those paying them and actually fear that they may lose votes for their actions. The politicians take their votes for granted. Bush knows he will get the republicans vote so he tries to do things democrats would do. He knows the republicans have no where to go so he does whatever he wants or those that pay him want. The Democrats go from being very liberal to get their base pumped up but then giving a slight central view here and there to gain the vote of those that are unsure and those that don't like extremes. Then once in power both democrats and republicans pay off those that got them in office. I honestly believe Kerry and Bush are actors and don't care much about america they just care about power.
Vote for Ralph Nader! Not Bush or Kerry. Kerry will be the same thing as bush, maybe a little better.

P.S. Tax cuts aren't nessescary a good thing. You see a person making very little money lets say maybe 20,000 a year may get a 500 dollar tax cut. A person making 2 million a year will get a 200,000 tax break, with that money they could buy a 4th summer house, while millions of people are living in poverity. With tax cuts social services suffer as well. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

P.S. (2) lets don't forget the iraq war, we better not let something like that happen again. (where are the weapons bush?)

P.S. (3) Lets don't forget the patriot act (pure fascism)

But what do i know i'm just a stupid canuck that lives in a frickin igloo. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Well we definitely differ. I have no problem with the patriot act. Times have changed in my opinion and I have nothing to hide. I didn't mind going into iraq because I fealt it was a win win situation due to saddams records of killing 100's of thousands of people and his records of building a nuclear weapons plant that israel took out. Rather than say where are the weapons bush. I would say where are the weapons international and national intelligence agencies? My major problem with the war is the way bush fought it. I respect nadar for stating what he believes. The rich also pay a lot more money in tax than I do so I feel I don't deserve as much back as they do.

Don't worry I'm voting third party. In fact I've been thinking about writing both the democratic and republican parties to tell my disgust.
