What?! If you're being sarcastic please disregard, if not you know that the Bush family is extremely wealthy, right?I like that ol Bush guy, I don't want some rich guy that doesn't know what work is to run our country.
I think having 3 parties would be a great boon to this country. Realistically, however, Nader (who's views most accurately represent mine) isn't going to win this one, so rather than leave George in office I will vote for Kerry. By voting for Kerry I realize that I'm only perpetuating the 2 party system, that I disagree with, but all things equal I would rather have someone in office that represents most of my views rather than someone that is diametrically opposed to them.
I am very liberal. I honestly think this country would be better served in a socialistic or even communistic ideal set. A lot of my friends are conservative and I absolutely respect that. The problem I have with conservatives, in general, is their unwillingness to question the Government. The government is there to serve us and should be absolutely ready to answer for decisions that are opposed to popular public opinion. You ever watched the British parliament on t.v.? They openly criticize each other and actively question authority figures about the decisions they make without fear of being called 'unpatriotic' or told if they don't like it they can get out.
Most news sources are biased in one direction or the other. They have to appeal to their audience and in doing so will inadvertantly lean a little off center. As was pointed out earlier in this thread, Fox News is an extremely conservative channel. MTV most likely appears liberal because a lot of the rock musicians/actors that appear on that channel are decidedly liberal. It sucks but you just have to learn to listen to both sides, sift through the rhetoric and decide for yourse By voting for Kerry I realize that I'm only perpetuating the 2 party system, that I disagree with, but all things equal I would rather have someone in office that represents most of my views rather than someone that is diametrically opposed to them.

And for those that are interested, I just did a search and it looks like Viacom President Mel Karmazin has donated several times to Democratic interests but only twice to Kerry, once in 2000 and once in 1996, so it was most likely for a Senatorial campaign. Fox Entertainment Group Chairman Rupert Murdoch, however, donated $25000 to the Republican National Committee on April 21, 2004.
