MT power... 2500 watts?

I've decided I really want an 18" MT so I'm going to get one. Right now I have a viper 2500. If I use this amp for an MT daily will it be happy, or is it going to want more power? The box will be ~7 cubes ported after diaplacement I'm trying to figure out how much power this ***** needs.

I have no doubt it will be loud. I guess the real question is, will it be louder than 2 15" xxx's off the same power in the same space?
