well the new MT is loud but until i get the new amp i want to change up wiring i measured the coils and they are getting 2.2-2.5 ish he said it was dual 1 or .7dcr now if its dual .7 then it would read 1.4 ish

my XXX was dual 2 and measures 1.4 or 1.5

is this one dual 1.4? so could i wireit in parallel?

would the a3000 handle it for daily?

I take it that you've wired the coils in series and the reading you have posted is on the pair of coils not just a single coil?

Anyway, try using a different DMM and see what it comes up with. Depending on the DMM used our coils come out between 1.8 and 2.3 Ohms per coil and ours are 2 Ohm coils. Remember that using a DMM will get you in the ballpark and it is also only measuring the driver at dead rest and you need to take into consideration the resistance of the DMM's leads if it has any.

When I originally ordered it I specified .7 coils, however, I never tested them so I don't officially know what they are.

Their dual 1 has a dcr of .7 iirc.

Its probably off because of the dmm
