box is 7 cubes 31-32hz tuning and 105 sq inches of port36.5x27x17.5 i think dont remember

it is f-in loud so much louder than my XXX it isnt even funny

the sq isnt bad at all really i listen to mostly rap and some mild rock everynoe and then and i prefer the loudness in the MT for the drop is sq

Bro you cant even compare a Type R to a MT or XXX.
Get a 12" MT if you're going that route, for pure output

If you want some good quality, get the XXX, it'll destroy a 15" Type R in output even then, if you ask me. Not to mention it'd **** the R in SQ

i know what you are talking about...but the whole "bandwagon" thing got me. If mark is saying i will hit even a 45 w/ one 15 (type r)...why even attempt to get a 12" mt to...i need like 4x the power i have, which means alternator, and definetly an extra batt or 2.

i relaly really really want to get an MT (i'm an spl guy) but the whole power thing is really straying me away from it. I have a bx1605d (hifonics) right now and from what I hear, you need like at least 2.5kw rms. I can't push that much power...it's just bad math

tcab=300

thats 500 dollars

mt=250 (lets say i got a deal...benefit of the doubt)

ia 20.1 or orion 2500d = about 300 used

new alty=200 (excessive amperage)

box=maybe 50 dollars plus about 5 hrs labor

thats 800 dollars to hit around the same score..and the type r should be more musical. and i stil have to experiment w/ boxes...w/ marks box i just throw it in.

i'm kinda a lazy guy i guess

i duno...to me thats bad math...i just don't have that much money.

I wasn't comparing alpine/re...i was just trying to decide which is more cost effecient for the number put up

Its all about the install, and how low was it tuned? He should add another 2500 and see that number rise.
