MRP-500M... Stopped working

Ok so i got a MRP-500M last night. As i was on my lunch today driving back to work the sub stopped thumping. I looked behind there is no light on the amp. Now, i unplugged everything and just connected the remote to the + to see if it would turn on. it did for about 2 seconds then slowly faded off again.(the light)... I'm home right now so i opened it up. I don't see a single thing burnt/popped and its a fairly small chip board so its kinda hard to miss anything.

what els could cause this? i checked all wires in the car.. none are nicked/cut

Are you subs wired to 4ohm or 2ohms if not that amp will go into protect mode.

3ohm and it still does it when no speaker is wired
