MP3 Music In My Car

I am looking for the best way for me to listen to my MP3 player in my car.

I currently have a Dynex Digital FM Transmitter which works OK, but the sound is very quiet.

Are there any other ways for me to play my music through my MP3 player other than an FM transmitter? If not, could you recommend an FM transmitter that you have found to be of high quality?

I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu with the stock stereo. I have just recently installed 2 1000W JBL GT4-10 Subs and a 1000W Visonik amp.

The cassette deck would definitely be better than the FM transmitter, or it looks like PAC Audio makes an adapter that would give you Aux inputs that you could use. FM transmitters simply aren't very good for sound quality. I used a PAC adapter in my '06 G35 coupe for XM Radio inputs and it worked pretty good but was also a bit quiet. I ended up having to get a line driver for it.
