a noob question about hu pre outs and amps

hey...so i was going to buy a hu with a 8v pre amp out....but the amps sensitivity is only up to 6v...is that ok??

No, the HU will still output 8v at full volume.

you'll only get 8v from the HU with the bass boost maxed, and the volume maxed while playing a 0db test tone. Real world you'll never approach that.
