ok i have a fairly substantial mp3 collection on my computer along with another harddrive filled with mp3s but its not very organized..so i was wondering if anybody knows of a GOOD program that can organize the music and move it all around to where it should be so the the songs belong to a certain artist are in a specific folder ... if you can help and send me in the right direction id appreciate it.. i searched google but it gives me a 22043 choices but none seemed to work very well.

:-\ i have alot more than 250gb lol. i dont want to do it by hand if possible.. there has to be something out there to do it.. if not i will live with it the way it is... it would take a long, long, long time to do it by hand..not to mention alot of the artists off of stuff like decafs mixs im not to familiar with and wouldnt know how to organize.

it took me forever with over a TB of music but I made 26 folders A-Z and a #'s folder too and made individual folders for every artist and just placed them in alphabetical order....took me while it was worth it

I have 3gb of music and don't listen to half of it. Never understood why some people have so much f'n music.
250gb is prob like 20k+ songs right?
im not sure.. i have a 400gb harddrive seperatelyfrom my laptop thats filled with mp3s..ive been downloading them for prob..10 years now? and everytime id get a new computer or whatever would put em all on a seperate harddrive so i wouldnt lose them.. i got songs on there i completely forgot about lol.. i like lookin through it to see what i was listening to at a certain point in my life..

By hand is the way to go. I have a 1.5TB drive thats almost full of music. I have everything listed by Artist and then in that artist folder are individual albums.

If you absolutely have to use a program use MediaMonkey.
