Mp3 (320) vs wav in high spl

I've been saying this for YEARS and everyone disagrees except the likes of sound engineers and musicians.. i know my hearing isn't perfect but differences exist and them most notible one is noise floor. th more complex the track the more bits needed to properly covert the analog signal to a complex digital signal.

even though i most certainly can hear the difference between a flac Riped from 16 to 24 bit depth/48000 depth doesn't mean that technology won't get better and the difference will appear. i try to use 24/48 for critical listening. i not going to say im the most critical listened but i listen for hours to the same tracks like listen to my car. a little difference and i notice it. i can tell when my oil is starting to break down..

for the sole purpose I'm going to create a a thread and tell everyone what to listen for. Let people decide for THEMSELVES instead of trying to use you "position " as a competitor.

if i didn't hear the dfference i wouldn't try to find 16 and 24 bit recordings. some songs are VERY HARD to hear the difference other recordings that are more complex and more obvious. specifically the recording that have a very wide bandwidth and instruments.

can i hear the ifdference in techno for 320 to cd? no its ts generally not very complex and made up of distorted sounds so thy are extremely hard to differentiate. can i tell the different on heavy dumb tracks and sons with alot of upper frequency harmonics? YES no doubt

me and jeef disagreed. you don't see us arguing! he doesn't agree i make my point if he isn't he isn't convinced he doesn't go spouting off like a lil ***** he just says he can't and that's that. if he can't maybe there are factors i cannot account for and if i can maybe there are factors that HE cannot account for.

my only point is that the science is there don't disregard the science. don't ruin it for people who might beable to make strides in any field.

for SPL demos it doesn't matter at all. Absolutely zero difference. If you can hear a difference that just means your 320 kpbs isnt a true 320kbps rip but rather a copy of some 128kbps ripped but transcoded in 320kbps. For example some songs i downloaded off pirate bay is labeled 320kbps, file is 320kbps but on spotify it sound waaaay better than that file on a usb. Thats how i knew that was a fake bitrate file. A few people even commented on it.

i agree. for critical listening i disagree. demo is about sounding decent and LOUD AS ****.

I was having this problem for a while but never with I tunes music and with Djslowfetts it was 100% failure but funny thing since @los33 hooked us up with his new site BassHeadMusic it working now ? I mean I downloaded about 200 songs last night and all but about 10 played so I will try to reload the 10 and see if that works.but either way I can live with that.
