Is there a difference in mounting directions? Im using a T1 which can be mounted either way.

yes if you have the subs magnet sticking out the top, wire everything backwards.

Try it both ways and see which sounds best for your particular installation.

There is no rule that states that the postive sub terminal must be wired to the negative amp terminal when mounting the subwoofer inverted.
