Mounting an amp and sub box

Whatever works best for you is ok, just dont drill a hole into your gas lines, gas tank or brake lines and seal all drilled holes with a dab of silicone to avoid leaks and corrosion.

your biggest problem is if you want to screw into the floorpan. putting holes into the outerbody of the car is not always the smartest idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Also when making a signature... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

yeah dude, your signature just looks weird. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

anyway, one thing I like to do is cut a piece of 1/2 inch mdf and slide it under the carper. You don't need to mount it down. If you do, 5 or 6 dabs of hot glue or epoxy will work. Then mount the amp to that. Screwing it through the carpet will hold it in place.

works like a champ.
