Not necessarily bad as long you put some rubber feet or anything for that matter that will lessen vibrations between the two.

Also, try to mount the amp horizontal. Avoid a verticle mount as much as possible.

ive never heard of anyone ever having problems from mounting there amp on there box, the rubber feet idea is a good one though, so u should be fine

the one thing i don't like is that when you mount your amp on the box, it is easier to steal. also it is easier to take the whole setup out of the car if you need room for cargo or need to access your spare tire.

i've seen the insides of amps all knocked loose from bass...when they get so hot the solder melts....

I never had a proplem,but the rubber foot idea is ok but the MAIN thing is good box bracing,thats were sh!t gets focked up.
