Mounting amp?

hey, right now, I have my 2 amps mounted on the trunk floor in the very back of the trunk. (on the ground behind the back seats). and my sub box is obviously in front of the amps. but im thinking of getting a slightely bigger box, (the new box will sound so much better than the pre-fab box i have now). But my problem is, I dont know if i'll have room to mount my amps anywhere. I have a Cadillac CTS, so the trunk is pretty big, but i dont know where to mount the amps. i dont think its a good idea to mount my amps on the box, because of the rattling. some people mount their amps on the back seats, but my seats dont fold down, and there is a hole in the middle of the back seats, (like an armrest thing), so i wouldnt have enough room on each side of the hole thing for my amps. (i have a Sundown

1500D, and an Alpine Mrp-f450. if anyone has any suggestions about mounting amps, and could find a way for me to mount my amps, thatd be great. thanks.

any chance you could do the ye ole false floor trick? or maybe mount the amps one on each side of the trunk. You would loose anywhere from 0"-3" or so of overall height in the trunk depending on how you can do it, and should make for a nice clean look.

the false floor would be cool, but i don't have any more room height wise, the sides of the trunk arnt' flat, they kind of curve in, so the box might get in the way. idk what to do

you'll be fine mounting the amps on the box, typically vibrations from driving (hitting bumps, potholes, etc.) are a lot worse than the vibration from the sub in the box, so that concept is pretty much irrelevant. Just make sure that if your box is pretty large you brace it

hmm, would there be enough room to make flush panels along the sides that would sorta square up the trunk, basically exactly the width of the new sub box, so it could get in and out, and just wider than the current trunk floor so it could come out too. Should leave you with a couple of inches for the amps and trunk arms and such to come down.

Picture of the trunk may help to stir up some ideas.
