Mounting amp under rear deck

Is this a good or bad idea? I have a memphie belle and its not that big of a amp but its long. It about 9" wide and like 30" long. Is it better to mount it right side up or upside down so you can see the top of the amp from the trunk? What do I need to secure it with to make sure it will not fall down. Thanks
