Mounting amp to rear deck in trunk

Not really an option, i need to mount to the rear deck, by speakers.

well if you mount them upside down, the heat that gets realesed by the amp will just rise back up into the amp, and the amp will never be able to cool then your amp will always go into protection or burn up.

try mounting it on top? under the cardboard covered with carpet...my grand am has enough space under the cardboard to mount a decent sized amp, but Id have to cut holes to allow air to circulate or it would overheat sitting in there
