I've replaced my factory speakers on my bike and am powering them with a Sony Xplod amp. I can bridge the other two channels to drive a sub but will be asking to much of the alternator. Will a capacitor save my alternator the extra work or will I need a higher output alternator and battery?

Speakers: Polk Audio db501 in the fairing

Amp: Sony Xplod Slim Series 4/3 Channel Amplifier

Model Number: XM-4S
