whats the most power (rms) i can use off a stock electrical system in a 1989 mazda 626 ( i dont know what the alt puts out but its stock), i assume its a class d or t amp but which one? @ 2ohms? (dual 4 ohms sub...rl-p...wheeeyyyyy) without problems..dimming amp cutting out due to lowered voltages, fuses melting etc, etc?? what amp?? link?? ebay??

Most factory charging systems can support up to 500watts rms before any problems set in.

look for somthing that puts out 500 watts RMS at what ever ohm load you need.

With wire upgrades you can run upto 1000watts RMS.

With wire upgrades and alternator upgrades 1000 to 2000 watts RMS.

Beyond that extra batteries will become necessary.

I have a 135a stock alt, and only the battery ground updated - I get absolutely no dimming with 1.7kW, but part of that is due to a 14.8V idle voltage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
