most evoking song?

Gershwin is okay as a composer, but his usual over the top style never appealed to me. Try Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 1 "Winter Dreams" or maybe Holst's "Planets".

lol i was just about to say the exact opposite. while tchaikovsky is great, i find his composings to be too predictable. i love gershwin's sudden changes in tempo and dynamics. gershwin is a genius, just like tch is as well, much respect for both. dunno if anyone remembers or not, but ive been playin piano for years now and STILL the one song that has killed my fingers has been rhapsody in blue. the chromatic scale just trips me up so bad (like 4th measure lol)

what is that one song that makes you just shudder with excitement, the one that just chills your body with the dynamics? i'm trying to create a list, so any input would be helpful. for me...
gershwin - rhapsody in blue
another piece of evidence!!!

anyways i would say that Star Wars song by john williams. Heard it on the iasca cd. whew!
