BNIB Morel MW-266 8" midbass/midrange pair 8ohm

Brane new. Very wide bandwidth 8", good from 22Hz to 2.2kHz. Shallow! Less than 2.75" depth. I removed one of the foam filters since it wasn't glued properly. Otherwise, perfect. These do not need a lot of power!!! Whatever amp you have will be fine. Tired of you guys bellyaching over the 8ohm thing, lol. I absolutely guarentee that you will love the sound from these even with low power.

Yeah, these are very well behaved in free-air. Tuneful bass and beautiful midrange.

Forgot to mention - These are bult in England or Isreal, not sure which.

Whats the power handling on these bad boys? Im interested in running them parallel on my 500W sub channel mounted in my rear doors.

150wrms@ 8 ohms each driver... I wouldn't recommend no more then that..

So 300w total, running them parellel off my 500w channel. It says they max out at 1kw I was thinking just running the full 500w to them and see what happens. Maybe my doors will rattle too much and make me turn them down but it seems like a worthy experiment. How much power did you run them on ciaonzo?

Yeah, like aztec pointed out I wouldn't use these that way. The dynamic thermal abilities are rated at 1k for a few milliseconds at a time, representing the dynamic bursts found in music and not to be considered as a long term number. These are musical drivers and have that type of suspension, you won't need very much power to reach full excursion. Any power that is put on them would basically equate to how well the driver is controlled.

These look like the drivers Bing used in a 335i install under the seats, making me highly tempted to put them in with my IB install.....but the airspace is so small in there....

So just give them their full RMS rating be happy with what I get? I guess I can deal with that if they can give me some good bass in the rear doors. Can anyone comment on the amount or quality of bass these can deliver in the rear doors on a 3way active system?
